Arizona Realtor License Requirements

The Arizona Real Estate Commission requires applicants to take at least 90 classroom hours in order to receive pre-license credit. This means no internet or distance learning credit is accepted. Additionally, an applicant must be:

  1. The prospect must be at least 18 years old.
  2. The prospect must not have had a real estate license denied within one year.
  3. The prospect must not have had a realtor license revoked within the preceding two years of applying for a license.
  4. The prospect must pass a class examination as well as a state examination.
  5. The prospect must must also take a 6 hour continuing education course in Contract Law and Contract Writing before activating their license.
